With our partner the Royal Berkshire Shooting School we offer exclusive simulated clay shoots for small groups. Hosted by their knowledgeable team of instructors, these days replicate every element of a real pheasant or grouse shoot but use clay pigeons as the quarry.

The day begins with breakfast taken in our Library that overlooks the stunning deer park, a great time for guests to relax and catch up. Following this, there is an introductory safety presentation before guests depart for the first of the drives.

Making use of the thousands of acres in which the Estate is set, four drives are enjoyed throughout the day. Particular favourites include the duck drive over the lake as well as a fun competition drive where guests battle it out for the title of ‘Top Gun’.

Once shooting has concluded, drinks are enjoyed either in our formal gardens that enjoy views across the Estate towards the lake or in our charming Library and Drawing Room before a traditional shoot lunch is taken in our grand, yet intimate Dining Room.

The days have proved a popular choice for both private and corporate groups.
